Tea House Formosa

It was my first time stopping into a tea house here in Atlanta. I LOVE tea and I find it very soothing and relaxing. I try to drink tea atleast a few times a week. My girlfriend Gail told me about a cute lil tea house off of Buford Highway and I was delighted to go. We had Boogy Bear with us and he is always up for an adventure and to explore new places with his granny ma lol.

This quiet little nook is called, Tea House Formosa and it’s a cozy little place that you can go and do a little work on your computer, order tea to go or sit down and have small bites with friends over conversation. When we arrived, we were the only patrons and we were met with a temperature check and hand sanitizer before we could enter.

It’s such a lovely little spot filled with artifacts, tea pots you can buy and the smell of fresh tea brewing. We quickly ordered pots of tea and small bites. I fell in love with the Tayaki Koi Fish Waffles and Matcha Cheesecake, so yummy! This place is owned by Winnie Pend and Tao Huang who are brother and sisters.

On the menu, there is lots to choose from and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I loved the miniature porcelain cups and tea pot too! Stop in and tell them I sent yah. Checkout a few snaps below and stay safe out there!
