On Tuesday, January 3 edition of “Tamron Hall,” Tamron rang in the new year with music legend Dionne Warwick and her son, Grammy Award-winning producer Damon Elliott. Warwick discussed her illustrious career in music and exclusively announced her new duet with country music icon Dolly Parton. Warwick shared how she and Parton came together on the new gospel track and how excited she is for everyone to hear the duet. Dionne Warwick talks being the “Queen of Twitter” and her viral tweets about Pete Davidson and Chance the Rapper:

In response to her viral Pete Davidson tweet, Warwick jokes “Everybody else dating him, why not me?” In response to her viral Chance the Rapper tweet, Warwick says “I couldn’t stop thinking about why, when everybody knew he rapped, what’s the deal? You don’t have to identify yourself any longer do you? So he answered me and said, ‘You can call me anything you want!’”

Dionne Warwick announces her new debut with Dolly Parton:

“She [Dolly Parton] sent me a song that she wanted me to record. And I said, ‘Okay, that sounds like a deal.’ And she’s such a sweetheart, I know her. And then she sent me another song, the one that we’re going to be doing as a duet. A gospel song called ‘Peace Like a River.’ She wrote it. And I am very excited about this, I really am. I’ve done so many duets over the years, but this one’s gonna be very special.”
