Wardrobe Breakdown: Katy Perry Black Butterfly Dress On American Idol

I’m going to miss Katy Perry on American Idol, you know this is her last season on the hit competition reality show! On Sunday night’s show, she made her appearance wearing a very risky black butterfly dress that sparked a lot of debate online lol. I personally loved her look, how about you?

It was that time for this season’s Top 5 and she wanted to look a bit sexier I guess lol. Katy, 39, said that her butt was out to fellow host Ryan Seacrest lol. He responded back by saying, “well fix yourself”. For the show, she wore a plunging neckline with a black butterfly designer leather dress that not too many people could have pulled off.

The ensemble stole the show and the contestant that sang her song during the competition portion wore a similar silhouette as well, go figure. I can’t remember her name right now, but all eyes were on Katy. This dress is for the bold and beautiful and can be worn to a steamy dinner at a fancy restaurant or a romantic getaway!
