The 18th annual ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Awards dazzled the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles on Thursday, celebrating a remarkable group of women whose creativity, resilience, and brilliance have made a lasting impact on the entertainment industry. Hosted by actor Aldis Hodge, this year’s event recognized Cynthia Erivo, Teyana Taylor, Marla Gibbs, and Raamla Mohamed for their trailblazing contributions both in front of and behind the camera.
Teyana Taylor turned heads in a blush cut-out gown and matching sandals.
The multi-talented artist, who was one of the honorees of the evening, wore a custom gown by the renowned Los Angeles-based brand Amiri. While the dress’s earthy tone was subtle, the design was bold, featuring strategic cut-outs and a daring side slit. The full-length ensemble also included a boat-style neckline, long sleeves, and gathered detailing for an added touch of elegance. See more inside and congrats to this beauty!
