Live TV Chaos: SNL Censors Audience Curse During White House Correspondents Skit

In the latest Saturday Night Live episode, things got a little too real during a skit about the White House Correspondents Dinner, so much so that SNL had to hit the “oops” button and censor some audience cursing in post-production. The moment came after the White House Correspondents Association canceled Amber Ruffin’s planned performance at the dinner (thanks to a little pushback from the Trump administration).

While Nwodim was doing her thing on Weekend Update as Ms. Eggy, a rogue audience member shouted out one of the FCC’s dirty seven. The sound got scrubbed faster than you can say “we’re gonna get fined for that!” But not before the whole thing was caught on camera, including Nwodim’s priceless reaction.

Colin Jost, unable to keep it together, busted out laughing, hands in the air like he just won the lottery, then briefly buried his face in his hands in disbelief. Michael Che? Just as entertained, leaning back in his chair, cracking up like the rest of us were. Classic live TV chaos! See the funny video inside…
