Teyana Taylor and Regina Hall brought plenty of laughs as they joked non-stop while reacting to Aaron Pierre’s viral Spirit Tunnel moment (and yes, things got a little spicy).
Teyana opened up about her upcoming album The Escape Room her first in five years and explained why creating it on her own terms was so important. Meanwhile, Regina gave fans a sneak peek at what’s to come in Scary Movie 6, with a nod to the Wayans brothers.
Rising star Chase Infiniti also stopped by to share her Broadway aspirations, favorite roles, and what it was like to work on the sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale.
For the show, she wore a Junya Watanabe look from the Fall-Winter 2006 collection a deconstructed peplum jacket paired with an asymmetric skirt in tonal olive green Ripstop and cotton. Crafted largely from repurposed military surplus garments, the fitted jacket features curved panel seams with exposed topstitching, a central zipper closure, and exaggerated layered cuffs created from cut-and-reconfigured cargo details.
At the back, the peplum is formed from inverted and distressed trouser waistbands, left intentionally frayed and secured with original hardware a nod to both 19th-century bustle silhouettes and modern ideas of reconstruction. The asymmetric skirt mirrors this collage-like approach, pieced together from jacket panels with raw hems, angled cargo pockets, and irregular shaping.
This era of Watanabe’s work is celebrated for reimagining utilitarian garments through the lens of artisanal tailoring and postmodern assemblage, blending traditional craftsmanship with visible deconstruction. See more inside…
