In this third installment of the franchise, the original team of illusionists known as the Four Horsemen reunite to stage their most daring heist yet. Led by Danny Atlas, they recruit a fresh trio of young magicians to help them steal a priceless “heart” diamond from a powerful crime‐syndicate family that uses jewel sales to launder money.

Along the way they must overcome betrayals, layered illusions and the fact that Danny initially claims his old teammates are “dead” to him but inevitably the old guard and the new guard join forces in a whirlwind of trickery, showmanship and double-crosses.
