Grammy Winner Sabrina Carpenter talks about how she picked the surprise songs during her Short n’ Sweet Tour, opening the 50th anniversary episode of Saturday Night Live with Paul Simon and going Day Drinking with Seth.
Sabrina Carpenter is fully embracing her inner showgirl and doing it with unapologetic glamour.
The pop star arrived on Late Night with Seth Meyers in a stunning vintage, boudoir-inspired ensemble that felt equal parts coquette and couture. Her look wasn’t just stylish it was a rare piece of fashion history. The flirty mini dress originally debuted on none other than supermodel Claudia Schiffer during Chantal Thomass’ Fall 1994 runway, a collection celebrated for its lingerie-meets-luxury aesthetic.
The dress itself was a clever hybrid: a crisp white bodice fused with a black, double-breasted jacket silhouette worn undone for added drama. The skirt flirted with movement thanks to frothy white chiffon panels that created a cascading, feather-light effect with every step. Sabrina finished the look with towering Christian Louboutin platform stilettos, elongating the legs and sealing the showgirl fantasy.
Her signature blonde waves framed her face in soft curls as she chatted with Meyers about wrapping her “Short n’ Sweet” tour. The host even teased her about a recent TikTok where she humorously bid farewell to some of the less glamorous parts of life on the road.
