Celebrity Style: Julianne Hough’s Red Gown At Ryan Seacrest New Year’s Rockin Eve In Vegas

ABC and Dick Clark Productions (DCP), the world’s largest producer of televised live-event entertainment, ushered in the new year in signature style with “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026,” the nation’s most-watched New Year’s Eve celebration. At the center of it all in Times Square, longtime host Ryan Seacrest returned to lead the iconic countdown, joined by chart-topping global star Rita Ora, who brought international flair and high-glam energy to the New York stage.

The evening unfolded across time zones, seamlessly blending sound, style, and celebration. Festivities began in New York before moving west to Las Vegas, Chicago, Puerto Rico, and beyond. In Chicago, GRAMMY®-winning innovator, humanitarian, and hometown hero Chance the Rapper co-hosted the broadcast, welcoming 2026 from the Midwest and leading the live Central Time Zone countdown with unmistakable hometown pride.

Meanwhile, Las Vegas lived up to its “Entertainment Capital of the World” reputation as NFL legend Rob Gronkowski returned alongside multi hyphenate performer Julianne Hough, who made her New Year’s Rockin’ Eve co-hosting debut. Hough didn’t just arrive she made an entrance.

Dressed in a striking red gown with an open back and sharp, architectural lines, Hough turned sideways for the camera, the bold hue commanding attention. A full-length brown fur coat with diagonal striping draped heavily over her shoulders, adding drama and texture. Her short blonde hair was styled sleek and precise, while oversized earrings caught the light with every deliberate movement. The pose a controlled glance over the shoulder  felt intentional, almost cinematic.

The backdrop remained soft and dim, light falling in patches, no visible crowd just atmosphere. The focus stayed squarely on her presence. The look was unapologetic: bold dress, weighty coat, polished accessories. Together, they read as performance rather than routine a moment styled for the spotlight and befitting a night that exists to be remembered.
