In a daytime exclusive, Real Housewives of Potomac alum Charrisse Jackson-Jordan appeared on SHERRI alongside her son, Jackson, to share their side of the story surrounding the rumored romantic moment between Jackson and RHOP co-star Ashley Darby.
During the episode, Charrisse opened up about how she truly feels about the speculation that recently divorced Ashley may have hooked up with her 25-year-old son. She admitted the situation has been a whirlwind, with fans deeply invested in the rumored romance. Sherri Shepherd weighed in as well, noting that as a mom of a son around the same age, she struggled with the idea and felt the situation crossed “girl code,” adding that she believed Ashley may have initiated the encounter.
Charrisse shared that while she would be less upset if her son had initiated things, she feels there was more than just a kiss. She explained that she and Ashley had spent significant time together celebrating milestones, which made the situation sting even more. Though she stopped short of confirming anything physical, Charrisse admitted she would have reacted very differently if the two had actually slept together.
Jackson, who was seated in the studio audience, addressed the drama directly. While he insisted he “doesn’t kiss and tell,” he confirmed he gave Ashley a ride home and that events unfolded from there—before jokingly pleading the Fifth when pressed for details. He described the interaction as mutual, noting that it happened about two years ago and saying he wasn’t sure whether it later became a storyline. He also admitted he wasn’t thinking about his mom in the moment.
Adding a humorous twist, Sherri playfully flirted with Jackson on air, joking about the snowy weather and asking what he was doing later that night. Jackson laughed it off, revealing he does have a thing for older women sending the audience into laughter.
