Sterling K. Brown Is Getting Roasted by His Family for His 50th Birthday

Sterling K. Brown is planning to celebrate a major milestone in the most hilarious way possible with a 50th birthday roast.

“My wife is going to throw a roast for me,” he shared. “Not like pigs or anything like that but making fun of me.” Brown explained that the idea came from a genuine desire to laugh alongside the people who mean the most to him. “I just felt like I wanted to laugh with the people I love who love you, you know?” The guest list is set to be a meaningful mix of every chapter of his life, including friends from high school, college, and collaborators from projects like This Is Us, Paradise, and more.

When it comes to married life, however, Brown admits there’s one ongoing debate he and his wife can never quite settle: the bedroom thermostat.

“The biggest thing we disagree on is probably the temperature of the bedroom,” he joked. “She likes things very warm.” With his signature humor, he described how the nightly tug-of-war over the covers plays out. “I’ll break into a full body sweat and kick the sheets off, and she’s trying to pull them back on!”

Even in disagreement, Brown keeps it playful proving that laughter really is the secret ingredient to a happy marriage.
