Angela Oakley and former New York Knicks star Charles Oakley opened up about the emotional experience of witnessing the Knicks’ historic championship victory firsthand. Charles also shared his hopes that the team’s success could help mend fences between himself and fellow Knicks legend Patrick Ewing, revealing that he harbors no ill feelings and would gladly join forces with Ewing for meaningful community and charitable initiatives in the future.
Later, during Rate That Shade, comedian Michelle Buteau and The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Angela Oakley weighed in on some of the franchise’s shadiest moments. The duo reacted to memorable behavior from Phaedra Parks, Jo-Ellen Tiberi, Pinky Cole, and more, serving up plenty of laughs and unfiltered opinions.
Angela also addressed the ongoing rumors surrounding Shamea Morton. She revealed that she had heard speculation about Shamea’s involvement with NBA players long before the current drama unfolded and noted that the information did not come solely from her husband, Charles. Angela emphasized that the rumors had circulated for years and were not something she created herself.
When asked about Gerald Morton’s discomfort with Shamea filming romantic scenes, Angela admitted she understood his perspective but maintained that Shamea and Gerald share a strong and solid marriage. Despite vacationing together in the past, Angela suggested their friendship has become strained because she believes Shamea is directing her frustrations toward her when the real issues may lie elsewhere—specifically with Porsha Williams.
Angela also shared her belief that Shamea intentionally kept Gerald’s surprise birthday party under wraps from several of the ladies, despite some receiving invitations at the last minute. However, she rejected the notion that she played any role in the reported fallout between Shamea and Porsha, insisting she doesn’t understand why anyone would think she was involved.
During the RHOA After Show, Angela and Michelle Buteau took questions from both in-studio and virtual fans. Michelle discussed whether she would consider joining the cast of The Traitors, while Angela weighed in on the ongoing debate over who is the stronger singer between Drew Sidora and K. Michelle. She also teased fans by sharing why she’s especially excited for the upcoming Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, hinting that viewers won’t want to miss what’s ahead.
