Prime Video has unveiled the adorable first trailer and key art for Elle, the highly anticipated Legally Blonde prequel series, and it’s already serving major nostalgia with a side of pink perfection. Even better? The series has already been renewed for a second season before the first one has even premiered!
All eight episodes drop on July 1, introducing us to a younger Elle Woods, played by the charming Lexi Minetree. Long before Harvard Law School, courtroom victories, and iconic pink ensembles, we’re getting a front-row seat to Elle’s high school years where life is filled with complicated friendships, first loves, fashion experiments, and all the drama that comes with growing up.
Executive produced by Reese Witherspoon, who famously brought Elle Woods to life on the big screen, the series takes viewers back to 1995 and explores the moments that helped shape the confident, determined, and lovable Elle we know today. Through every challenge, heartbreak, and hilarious mishap, Elle leans on the unwavering support of her family especially the special bond she shares with her mother proving that together, they can handle anything life throws their way.
Before the sorority house, before the courtroom, and way before Harvard, there was simply Elle: a bright, bubbly teenager finding her place in the world while staying true to herself.
Earlier this year, Reese Witherspoon gave fans a sweet sneak peek from the set, teasing, “Harvard was hard. High School was harder.” And honestly? We can’t wait to watch every fabulous, pink-filled moment.
