For my birthday weekend, I whisked myself away to the most magical place on earth Walt Disney World. It had been nearly a year and a half since my last visit, so a dreamy holiday escape over Memorial Day weekend felt absolutely perfect. There’s truly nothing like stepping back into the magic, especially when the parks are glowing with sunshine, music, and that unmistakable Disney sparkle in the air.
Before heading into the parks, I met up with my longtime friend Annette, who works in Disney Public Relations and has been a beloved Disney cast member for over 20 years. She’s practically a fairy godmother when it comes to all things Disney and always knows every enchanting little detail hidden throughout the parks. We gathered for light bites, pretty cocktails, and the sweetest catch-up session, and I finally got to introduce her to my husband, Kelvin. The conversation flowed so effortlessly, filled with laughter, memories, and a little pixie dust magic.
Then came the most magical surprise. Annette reached for a gift bag and handed it to me with the biggest smile. Inside were the coveted Princess Tiana Bayou ears inspired by The Princess and the Frog and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and I completely gasped. I honestly could not believe I didn’t already own these collector beauties, especially considering I proudly consider myself a true Princess Tiana connoisseur. Somehow these little treasures had slipped right past me!
The ears are pure storybook perfection, designed with shimmering gold accents, delicate lotus flower details, and charming nods to Louis and the bayou magic we all adore. The official Disney Parks headband features padded simulated leather ears, a dazzling gold bow, and the sweetest glowing flower charm perched right on top like a little firefly from the bayou. One side showcases artwork of Louis alongside the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure logo, while the back is embossed with a graceful floral design. Even the inside of the headband feels luxurious with its soft rust-colored velour lining designed to stay comfortably in place all day long.
Needless to say, I instantly felt like Disney royalty the moment I slipped them on. You can find these ears on Ebay or used ones online, they were released 2 years ago.
