Bryce Dettloff and Trinity Tatum Crowned ‘Love Island USA’ Season 8 Winners

After capturing America’s vote on Love Island USA Season 8, Bryce Dettloff and Trinity Tatum are ready to see where their romance leads beyond the villa.

The couple was crowned the winners during the Peacock finale on Sunday, July 12, earning the $100,000 grand prize after winning over viewers throughout the season.

Before the big announcement, Bryce and Trinity shared one final romantic date in Fiji, where they reflected on the journey that brought them together. The emotional evening ended with the pair exchanging “I love you” for the very first time and expressing their excitement about building a future together off-camera.

“I’m really glad we got to this point,” Trinity, 22, told Bryce, 30. “You were very patient with me. You’ve never once invalidated my feelings. I honestly feel like you’ve done everything right. Everything you’ve done was to make me feel comfortable.”

Bryce said the challenges they faced inside the villa only strengthened their connection.

“We’ve had the ups and downs,” he said. “But I feel like we’ve been able to overcome anything that comes our way.”

Bryce and Trinity ultimately beat out fellow finalists Carl Schmidt and Aniya Harvey, Sincere Rhea and Melanie Moreno, and Zach Georgiou and Kayda Bosse to take home the title. The winners were determined entirely by viewer votes, with fans given a four-hour voting window on Friday, July 10, to choose their favorite couple from the final four.

As is tradition on Love Island USA, each finalist couple enjoyed a romantic final date before delivering heartfelt declarations about their relationship and sharing their hopes for life together once they left the villa.

For Bryce and Trinity, that intimate candlelit dinner became the perfect setting to celebrate how far they’d come—and the beginning of the next chapter in their love story.

Fans won’t have to wait long to catch up with the islanders. The Love Island USA Season 8 reunion, co-hosted by Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen, premieres Monday, Aug. 31.
