Comedian Luenell Becomes Sheen Magazine’s Cover Girl

Atlanta was buzzing with excitement Wednesday night as SHEEN Magazine kicked off a fabulous two-day celebration honoring two decades of fashion, entertainment, artistry and culture!

On September 16, 2026, SHEEN hosted its 3rd Quarter Cover Reveal & Xclusive Mixer, bringing the party to Cirque Daiquiri Bar & Grill in Buckhead for an evening filled with music, laughter, performances, photo ops and plenty of fashionable moments.

And the star of the evening? None other than the international “Bad Girl of Comedy,” Luenell!

Luenell was officially celebrated as SHEEN Magazine’s September/October cover model, and she looked absolutely fabulous! You could genuinely see how much the honor meant to her. From the festive styling of her cover shoot to the joy on her face, the entire presentation felt like a beautiful celebration of her personality, career and incredible journey.

Although Luenell’s boo, R&B singer Al B. Sure was not in the building, he sent his love by sending a beautiful bouquet of flowers to congratulate her.

The mixer was definitely one of those nights where you had to keep your camera ready! The room was filled with artists, entertainers and creatives, all coming together to celebrate SHEEN and its latest cover star.

The entertainment lineup kept the energy going all night with performances from Amari Perez, returning crowd favorite Yassie, chart-topping artist Juiicy 2X, rising R&B/pop boy band AURA, smooth R&B trio 4 Cast, emerging country artist Darrell Simm Jr., and powerhouse actress and singer Demetria McKinney, who headlined the evening.

Keeping the festivities moving were hosts Kelly Kellz, the hilarious comedian and actress, and stand-up comedy favorite Antione Scott.

The vibe was everything! From the music and performances to the networking, fashion and celebratory energy, SHEEN Magazine created the perfect kickoff to what is shaping up to be an unforgettable two-day affair.

And the celebration doesn’t stop there!

Today, September 17, SHEEN Magazine continues the festivities with its 2026 SHEEN Magazine Awards, bringing even more talent and industry stars together for an evening dedicated to recognizing outstanding accomplishments.

This two-day extravaganza is also a major milestone for SHEEN as the publication celebrates an incredible 20 years in the industry. Two decades of highlighting talent, creating opportunities and shining a spotlight on some of the most dynamic voices in entertainment, fashion and culture is definitely something worth celebrating!
