Pop Singer Katy Perry announced that her Las Vegas Show “Play” is unfortunately coming to an end, say it ain’t so! Perry talked about how fun it was to be in Vegas for the last two years and that it was her “favorite show that she ever created” in her interview with GMA.
“I know how important it is to some audience members,” Perry said, recognizing that fans were not only buying tickets to the shows, but also spending their “hard-earned money” and, for those who don’t live in Las Vegas, “planning a vacation around it.”
Perry’s show “Play” came to Vegas in December 2021 at Resorts World Theater at Resorts World Las Vegas. The costumes alone made me want to be there front center! While in Las Vegas, the 13-time Grammy-nominated artist also got a key to the city and won “Best Strip Headliner” by Best of Las Vegas in 2022!
She also talked about motherhood and how she was excited to finally drop her three-year-old daughter Daisy to pre-school. Her last shows of her residency will be October 4th- November 4th.
