Sunday night was the place to be at one of New York’s most iconic stages, as alums, former hosts, and basically anyone who’s ever crossed paths with “SNL” gathered to throw a massive party for the show’s epic 50th Anniversary.

“SNL50: The Anniversary Special” had it all: a nostalgic look back, a heartfelt reunion, and a celebration that kicked off with a concert on Friday. But let’s be real, what would an “SNL” special be without all the legendary characters we love? Kristen Wiig’s Dooneese, Will Ferrell’s Robert Goulet, Molly Shannon’s Sally O’Malley, Pete Davidson’s Chad, Rachel Dratch’s Debbie Downer, Cecily Strong’s “Girl You Wish You Hadn’t Started a Conversation With at a Party,” and Bobby Moynihan’s Drunk Uncle were all back to remind us why we fell in love with them in the first place.
