Tamron Hall Celebrates 1000th Episode

The other day, Tamron Hall, the nationally syndicated, Emmy® Award-winning daytime talk show and Disney’s second-longest-running syndicated talk show, celebrated its 1000th episode with a special packed with exciting surprises. To kick off this milestone, Ellie the Elephant, the official mascot of the New York Liberty, put on an electrifying dance performance at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Emmy-winning Good Morning America co-anchor Robin Roberts brought Tamron to tears with an emotional moment at the start of the celebration. David Boardman, dean of the Klein College of Media and Communication at Tamron’s alma mater, Temple University, and journalism student Rachel Williams, surprised Tamron with the Gallery of Success Award, honoring her outstanding professional achievements and inspiring students to pursue their futures.

Tamron’s executive producer, Quiana Burns, delighted her with a performance by the Soulful Sound Choir, who sang an a cappella version of Tamron’s favorite motivational song, “Eye of the Tiger.” Tamron also surprised a 13-year-old girl and her family with a trip to Disney World after the young girl raised over $200,000 for charity through her lemonade stand.

Tamron’s tradition of supporting female entrepreneurs continued as beauty entrepreneur Shontay Lundy, founder of “Blackgirl Sunscreen,” made an appearance.

To top off the celebration, Tamron surprised the audience with giveaways, ensuring the party continued at home! See all the fun inside…
