Kay Kay Gray and Chris Seeley were soaring as one of the strongest couples on Love Island Games Season 2 until their journey came to an unexpected halt. Their rapid rise and sudden exit shocked fans, and now the duo is opening up about the whirlwind experience that took them from the top of the villa to walking out the door.
“Yeah, I felt like it went from being on top of the world to being below,” Kay Kay shared during their exit interview with Blavity’s Shadow and Act. “It was just crazy it all happened so fast. I personally don’t feel like we did anything wrong or that we could have done anything better. We had our strategy in place and were focused on building alliances, because we knew being a power couple so early would put targets on our backs. We tried not to upset too many people in the process, but ultimately, it led us here.”
Chris agreed, adding that the challenge that sealed their fate didn’t feel like a fair way to measure their performance.
