“TRON: Ares” actor and producer Jared Leto, cast member Jodie Turner-Smith and director Joachim Rønning continued the electrifying global press tour for Disney’s highly anticipated upcoming feature in Milan, Italy, making their way to the heart of the Piazza Gae Aulenti for a show-stopping photo call in front of the UniCredit Tower.
The UniCredit Tower was lit up in red with an immersive light mapping show inspired by the “TRON” universe, featuring light effects and projections of exclusive content from the film that transformed the entire area into a hyper-technological experience.
Additional publicity appearances on behalf of the upcoming action-adventure are planned in Germany and the United Kingdom. Cast and filmmakers previously completed press in Seoul, South Korea, New York, Paris, and Málaga, Spain.
“TRON: Ares” follows a highly sophisticated Program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings. The feature film is directed by Joachim Rønning and stars Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Jodie Turner-Smith, Hasan Minhaj, Arturo Castro and Cameron Monaghan, with Gillian Anderson and Jeff Bridges.
Sean Bailey, Jared Leto, p.g.a., Emma Ludbrook, p.g.a., Jeffrey Silver, Justin Springer, p.g.a., and Steven Lisberger are the producers, with Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross, Russell Allen, and Joseph Kosinski serving as executive producers. The screenplay is by Jesse Wigutow, with story by David DiGilio and Wigutow, based on characters created by Steven Lisberger and Bonnie MacBird.
Disney’s “TRON: Ares” releases in U.S. theaters on October 10, 2025.
