Fenty Beauty Brings the Crop Over Vibes to Atlanta

Barbados came to the A! The Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. teamed up with Fenty Beauty and Ulta Beauty to bring the colorful spirit and energy of Barbados’ world-famous Crop Over Festival to Atlanta and it was nothing short of magical! The event took place at Ulta Beauty in the Toco Hill Shopping Center, and from the moment I walked in, it felt like I had stepped right onto the island!

I attended the Fenty Beauty Master Class, where Fenty artists showed us how to create those radiant, island-inspired Crop Over looks using our skin tones as their canvas. The glow was real, and the vibes were unmatched!

The event featured:
A live DJ spinning Caribbean tunes
Crop Over dancers bringing the rhythm and energy
Fun photo booth moments and fabulous giveaways
A playful Barbados “Spin-the-Wheel” station with prizes galore

Of course, I couldn’t leave without trying some new Fenty faves! My standout products were the Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer in Hot Chocolit (the perfect glowy brown shimmer) and the Diamond Bomb All-Over Diamond Veil Highlighter in How Many Carats? talk about shine, honey!

The makeup artist even gave me a quick touch-up and added a 90’s-inspired lip using the Whiskey Trace’d Out Longer Waterproof Lip Pencil lip liners are definitely making their comeback! He also shared that having your blush swept up high toward your eyelids in soft shades of pink is the beauty trend right now, so I tried Lavender Luv’s and it was so pretty and fresh!

The entire afternoon was festive, fabulous, and filled with that unmistakable Bajan glow. From the music to the dancers, it truly felt like a mini Crop Over celebration right in the heart of Atlanta. I left glowing, smiling, and feeling like I just took a tropical getaway Fenty style!
