Teyana Taylor reflected on choreographing a music video for Beyoncé when she was just 15 years old.
“At that age, I would literally just get up and dance anywhere,” she laughed. “Back then, I had no fear no responsibilities other than school. So when that call came in, I was hyped. The hustler in me was like, ‘This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I’m not about to play around or waste it.’”
She explained that she was originally brought in to teach Bey one specific step, but her Harlem roots kicked in:
“I couldn’t help myself I had to add a few extra little moves,” she said with a grin.
Teyana also opened up about working on Hulu’s All’s Fair and the group’s very lively cast group chat.
“We have the best group chat. It’s spicy, it’s warm, it’s juicy,” she teased. “The name of the chat? Way too unhinged to say publicly.”
According to Teyana, the chat covers everything especially fashion.
“I love to get dressed, so it’s the perfect place to ask, ‘Okay ladies, what are we wearing?’ It’s become such a beautiful sisterhood, and I love that.” See more inside…
