I finally went to see one of the most talked-about movies of the season and if you know me, you know I’m a total scaredy cat. I usually avoid anything labeled “thriller,” but this one isn’t about jump scares. It’s all tension. The kind that creeps under your skin and refuses to let go.
From the very first scene, the film keeps you in a constant state of what if? Every time you think you’ve cracked the code boom another twist sends the story spinning in a completely new direction. Just when you feel confident, the rug gets pulled out from under you again. It’s psychological, it’s seductive, and it makes you think… a lot.
It reminded me of something my grandmother used to say: never let another woman move into your home two women under one roof is asking for trouble. Old-school wisdom, sure, but watching this story unfold, you can’t help but feel there’s some truth there. Add attraction, power dynamics, and secrets into the mix, and suddenly nothing feels safe. And let’s be honest history has shown that even when you try to do everything “right,” chaos can still find its way in.

This is absolutely a girls’ night movie. I went with six girlfriends, and we were collectively gasping, whispering, and clutching our seats the entire time. The drama is layered, the wardrobe is stunning, the setting is luxe, and Amanda Seyfried delivers a deliciously unhinged performance that will have you both mesmerized and unsettled.
Go see it with your friends for the suspense, the twists, and the inevitable “wait… WHAT just happened?” moments. Trust me, it’s a ride.We all gave it an 8/10, see more inside..
