Red Carpet Rundown: The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants-Special Screening with Regina Hall

Paramount Pictures and The Marathon partnered together to bring holiday cheer to the Los Angeles community this past Tuesday, December 16, with a vibrant Holiday Toy Drive & Community Screening of “The SpongeBob Movie: A Search for SquarePants” at Marathon’s Melrose and Orange Avenue location.

The headlining toy drive collected over 350 toys, all donated to The Neighborhood Nip Foundation in honor of the late Nipsey Hussle’s enduring commitment to community empowerment. Two young DJs from Girls Make Beats, the LA based music education and technology nonprofit, kept the energy high with festive music as kids and families enjoyed games, activities, exclusive giveaways, and special appearances from SpongeBob and Patrick.

As part of the celebration, acclaimed artist Blue the Great unveiled a brand-new mural on behalf of the film. Following the toy drive event, Paramount hosted a community screening of the film in the Sherry Lansing Theatre on the lot, where attendees were met with a surprise in person greeting from Regina Hall, who lent her voice to the character Barb in the film.

The Holiday Toy Drive & Community Screening brought together families, youth, nonprofit partners, and fans for a day of celebration, creativity, and connection embodying the true meaning of giving back during the holiday season. See more inside…
