Red Carpet Rundown: STARZ Celebrates Premiere of “Fightland” In NYC

The stars came out in full force Tuesday night, July 21, as STARZ rolled out the red carpet for the highly anticipated premiere of Fightland at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Rose Theatre in New York City.

Executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson led the celebration alongside the series’ cast, including Howard Charles, Nicholas Pinnock, Deborah Ayorinde, Anita-Joy Uwajeh, Charles Babalola, Tyler Conti, Tahirah Sharif, and Richard Pepple. They were joined by co-creator and executive producer Marlon Smith, director Sebastian Thiel, and STARZ executives Jeffrey Hirsch, President and CEO; Alison Hoffman, President of STARZ Networks; and Kathryn Busby, President of Original Programming.

The premiere also welcomed a host of familiar faces from the STARZ family, including Power Book III: Raising Kananstars Erika Woods, Wendell Pierce, and London Brown, along with Power favorites La La Anthony and Naturi Naughton-Lewis, who stars in the upcoming STARZ series The Nowhere Man. She attended with her husband, executive producer Two Lewis.

The guest list was equally star-studded, featuring A$AP Rocky, Sherri Shepherd, New York Giants linebacker Abdul Carter, NBA guard Keon Ellis, Tristan “Mack” Wilds, Sleepy Hallow, Rich the Kid, A Boogie, DJ Envy, Uncle Murda, Tony Yayo, Cleotrapa, Lilly Hartley, Corelle Rouse, Petiri Reed, and more.

Following the screening, the excitement shifted from the screen to the stage as 50 Cent delivered a surprise live performance inside the Rose Theatre. The hip-hop icon energized the crowd with several of his biggest hits, including the Fightland theme song, before closing the set with the fan-favorite anthem “Hate It or Love It.” Special guests A Boogie, Rich the Kid, and Sleepy Hallow joined him onstage, turning the premiere into a full-scale concert that had the audience on its feet.

The evening marked an electrifying launch for the new STARZ drama. Guests were captivated by the action-packed premiere episode, which delivered edge-of-your-seat suspense, compelling performances, and knockout storytelling. With every twist raising the stakes, Fightland made a powerful first impression and left the crowd applauding long after the credits rolled.
