Shamea Morton is looking back at one of the season’s most emotional moments with a new perspective.
Appearing on Watch What Happens Live alongside comedian Fortune Feimster, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star admitted that, after watching the episode back, she wishes she hadn’t confronted Porsha Williams about their mothers during the group’s dinner.
“Looking back, the timing wasn’t right,” Shamea shared with Andy Cohen. “I was frustrated, and everything I’d been holding in just came out. The dinner wasn’t the place for it, which is why I apologized to the ladies for making everyone uncomfortable.”
She also revealed that her mother was deeply hurt by the situation, saying neither of their mothers deserved to be pulled into the conflict. While the issue dates back to last season and the reunion, Shamea believed they had agreed to move forward.
Addressing Porsha’s recent social media comments, Shamea admitted she saw the posts and even joked that she hoped they wouldn’t get her “kicked out of church,” adding that she apologized to her pastor, who reassured her everything was fine. She made it clear she has no plans to continue the back-and-forth online, saying she’s ready to leave the drama behind.
The episode also featured a hilarious round of shady games, where Shamea revealed which castmate had the most underwhelming reunion look before being challenged to say three nice things about Porsha.
During the fan-favorite “Say What You Shamean” segment, Shamea shared how each of her castmates could have been a better friend this season. She joked that Angela should stop looking for drama involving her, Phaedra should “stop being whack,” Pinky ought to share some business advice, and K. Michelle should simply keep being herself.
Meanwhile, Fortune Feimster weighed in on all things Bravo, revealing she’d gladly compete on The Traitors, discussed whether she’d rather be a Faithful or a Traitor, and shared which Housewife she’d “pause” if given the chance. She also revealed whether she’d rather see Lisa Rinna or Lisa Vanderpump return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
For the appearance, Shamea delivered a striking fashion moment in Schiaparelli, wearing an elegant ecru sleeveless mesh gown featuring the house’s signature Keyhole detail, a sculptural gold padlock chain cinching the waist, and a hammered gold button accent at the back an effortlessly sophisticated look that perfectly complemented the evening.
