Oh, the ladies of Potomac always know how to keep things interesting, don’t they? And when Gizelle Bryant stopped by Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, you already know there was plenty of shade, laughter, and a little friendship drama to go around!
The Real Housewives of Potomac star joined sports journalist and media personality Jemele Hill for an entertaining evening that had Gizelle answering some pretty juicy questions about her fellow Housewives.
From choosing between her longtime bestie Robyn Dixon and Ashley Darby to reflecting on her relationships with Wendy Osefo and Karen Huger, Gizelle had quite a bit to discuss!
And let me tell you, some of her answers had me cracking up!
Gizelle Bryant Chooses Between Robyn Dixon and Ashley Darby!
Andy Cohen put Gizelle in the hot seat with a hilarious game that required her to choose between two of her closest friends and fellow Potomac Housewives, Robyn Dixon and Ashley Darby.
Now, that’s a tricky situation because we all know these ladies have quite the history together!
First up, Andy wanted to know which friend Gizelle trusted more with a secret.
Without much hesitation, she picked Robyn Dixon!
But when it came to which Housewife causes the most drama, Gizelle quickly pointed to Ashley Darby!
No surprise there, right? Ashley has never been one to shy away from stirring the pot!
And the questions only got juicier from there!
Who’s the Better Wingwoman, Shade Queen and Fashionista?
When Andy asked who made the better wingwoman, Gizelle chose Ashley.
She also gave Ashley the crown for delivering the most lethal reads!
Now, I had to laugh at that one because Ashley definitely knows how to throw a little shade when necessary!
As for who has the bigger ego, Gizelle couldn’t choose just one and declared that both ladies were equally guilty!
But the funniest moment came when Andy asked which friend Gizelle would call first in an emergency.
Her answer?
It depends on the emergency!
If she found herself in jail, she’d call Ashley because Ashley could help her find a lawyer.
But if she were stranded on the side of the road, Robyn would be her first phone call because she could probably change a tire!
Now, that’s what I call knowing your girlfriends’ strengths! Ha!
Gizelle also admitted that she’d rather borrow clothes from Ashley’s closet and would turn to her for relationship advice.
And when Andy asked who Googles herself more often, Gizelle made it clear that it certainly wasn’t Robyn!
These ladies are too funny!
Robyn Dixon Is Holding Gizelle Accountable This Season!
The conversation also touched on Robyn’s return and how she’s been holding Gizelle accountable.
Andy wondered whether Gizelle was surprised by her friend’s willingness to call her out.
Gizelle admitted that she was both surprised and not surprised, explaining that she appreciates good banter.
I actually think that’s an interesting dynamic.
We all know Robyn and Gizelle have shared a close friendship over the years, but even the best girlfriends don’t always agree!
And sometimes a real friend is the one who tells you what you need to hear, even when you don’t necessarily want to hear it!
Gizelle Bryant Reflects on Her Apologies and Personal Growth
During the Watch What Happens Live After Show, Gizelle also addressed some more serious topics involving her fellow Housewives.
She discussed apologizing to Tia Glover and reflected on her personal growth.
Gizelle also expressed her desire to be a supportive friend to Wendy Osefo during a difficult period in Wendy’s life.
She even apologized for previously referring to Wendy as a scammer.
Now, that’s a conversation I found particularly interesting!
Anyone who watches RHOP knows that Gizelle and Wendy haven’t always seen eye to eye, so hearing Gizelle acknowledge her words and express a desire to show support was noteworthy.
It will be interesting to see how their relationship develops moving forward.
Gizelle Talks About Karen Huger’s Return
Another topic that caught viewers’ attention was Karen Huger.
During the After Show, Gizelle shared her observations about how Karen has changed since returning from prison.
Given the complicated history between these two Potomac Housewives, any conversation involving Gizelle and the Grand Dame is bound to get fans talking!
Their relationship has had its fair share of ups and downs, but that’s part of what makes the Potomac franchise so entertaining.
Meanwhile, Jemele Hill joined in on the fun, answering fan questions and discussing which television show’s legacy she’d be interested in exploring through a podcast.
Between the audience questions, friendship revelations, and Housewives updates, the After Show gave Bravo fans plenty to discuss!
Tami’s Take: Friendship, Accountability and a Little Potomac Shade!
What I love about The Real Housewives of Potomac is that these ladies always manage to mix humor, drama, and real-life relationships into one entertaining package!
Gizelle has never been afraid to speak her mind, and whether you agree with her or not, she certainly knows how to keep a conversation going!
I especially got a kick out of her choosing between Robyn and Ashley because, let’s face it, we all have different girlfriends we call for different situations!
Some friends are great for relationship advice, others are your emergency contacts, and a few are the ones you call when you need a fabulous outfit!
But beyond the laughs, I appreciated hearing Gizelle talk about accountability and personal growth.
Friendships evolve, people make mistakes, and sometimes the most meaningful thing we can do is acknowledge when we’ve hurt someone.
Of course, this is still Potomac, so I’m sure there will be plenty more drama, shade, and unexpected twists before the season wraps!
