I recently stumbled upon an incredible beauty find that I simply had to share. Last week, I came across a TikTok video claiming that Pat McGrath Labs luxury makeup line had been spotted at a national drugstore chain CVS. I was skeptical the brand is known for its prestige pricing, so the idea of finding it on a discount shelf seemed almost unbelievable.
Curiosity got the best of me, and I decided to investigate. I visited several locations around Atlanta, but none of the stores carried the items people were buzzing about. After trying a few online delivery apps as well with no luck I assumed it was just another internet rumor.
Fast forward to today: we were on a road trip to Charleston, South Carolina, for my boyfriend’s college reunion. On the way to our hotel, I noticed a CVS nearby and asked him to make a quick stop. I wandered down the beauty aisle, and to my surprise, there it was the very palette I had been searching for. I purchased one a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it, so finding it again felt like striking gold.
The store only had a few items available, but I managed to pick up the last two palettes perfect for Christmas stocking stuffers for me and my daughter. The one I chose features a gorgeous range of warm, luminous shades that transition effortlessly from soft daytime looks to dramatic evening glamour. The textures are silky, the colors richly pigmented, and the finishes beautifully dimensional. It’s the kind of palette that invites creativity and makes every application feel like a luxurious experience.
